Samsung’s latest Galaxy S smartphones include a better camera and a quicker processor

Samsung Electronics announced the newest versions of its flagship Galaxy S smartphones, which include improved camera features and a speedier CPU chip, hoping to revive sales after two years of decline.

The S22 series will compete directly with Apple’s iPhone 13, released in September. Samsung’s two-track premium mobile plan sees flagship models released in the first half of the year, followed by Galaxy Z foldable phones in the second half.

Samsung stated the S22 phones’ camera delivers sharper low light and night images, as well as automated framing that can monitor up to 10 individuals, ensuring they are all in focus.

A stylus comes with the most expensive version of the Samsung S22 Ultra – a feature that was unique to the Galaxy Note model with its large screen, which many analysts believe has been discontinued.

Every year, the Galaxy S suite of products sells more than 30 million units. There were less than 25 million in 2020 and less than 30 million last year, partially due to component shortages, according to Jene Park, a senior analyst at research firm Counterpoint.

“Samsung is expected to ship more than 15 million Galaxy S22 phones in the first half of 2022, according to our estimates. We can expect 30 million units in 2022 if the initial sell-through is satisfactory, “he stated

A global semiconductor shortfall is anticipated to persist this year. Still, analysts believe Samsung will do better than many competitors due to its massive purchasing power and tight control over its supply chain.

ACCORDING TO SAMSUNG, the S22 Ultra, S22 Plus, and S22 will be widely accessible on March 25th. The Galaxy S22 will cost $799.99 in the United States, $999.99 in the S22 Plus, and $1,199.99 in the S22 Ultra.
